Artist's Bio
"My work embodies the beauty of the natural world and the imagination. Each brush stroke is deliberately designed to captivate and engage the viewer. I work in oils, watercolor, pastels, pencil, acrylics, pyrography, leather, epoxy resin, and carving."
Amanda Hukill is a budding artist. She has always enjoyed art in it's many facets even as a child. Amanda started painting in 2011, but it wasn't until July of 2021 that she decided to pursue art as a career. She has been given a gift of natural talent and is excelling. Amanda has won numerous art competitions and honors.
We are excited to see more from Amanda Hukill in her art journey which brings us to the announcement of her winning The Eyes of Texas Fine Art Gallery cover competition this fall with her piece titled “Soulful Spirit.” Amanda's inspiration for this piece is definitely rooted in her Texan and Native American heritage. Soulful Spirit was a pour painting tribute to Amanda's number one on all of Google painting “Indian War Pony.”
Amanda is ecstatic to have been chosen for the cover of vol. 8.
